My dad and I have spent most of our Saturday gardening. We worked our butts off! We went to the farmers' market and got organic soil and a few organic plants, because sadly ours did not do very well. We planted corn, zucchini, bell peppers, spaghetti squash, and carrots.
Then we got home and did the landscaping; we put soil down with bricks and mulch. We were out there for five hours. Then we planted everything.
The plants look so amazing! I'm so excited for them to grow and for us to get yummy veggies out of them!
Then when I pulled the carrot plants apart I saw the tiniest little carrot ever!
I love seeing the plants grow!
After we were finished planting and working, we picked up everything and admired our work! It looks so good, and guess what?! I didn't take a picture of it. I'm such a space case... luckily we will finish everything on Monday as a family activity and I will show you then! We did add two little ones to watch over the garden though.
